If this keeps up, it will be right there with Twilight.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09839699765954656794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7491101769445766372.post-69743582890630011442013-05-22T00:52:45.941-07:002013-05-22T00:52:45.941-07:00I think that's a valid point, and a really goo...I think that's a valid point, and a really good question that we all need to ask ourselves. I just talked in my previous post about how your motivations when starting out don't need to be noble to be effective, but we need to remember that the end game DOES need to be noble, or at least healthy. <br /><br />"I want to be rich," is not good reason to be dissatisfied. However, the desire to do work that matters, provide well for your family, have healthy relationships, and have a healthy body are all really great reasons to find dissatisfaction with your current situation.<br /><br />There's a line between healthy dissatisfaction, and simple jealousy/avarice that you have to be aware of and stay on the right side of as well.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09839699765954656794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7491101769445766372.post-19794041554902377602013-05-21T12:21:54.674-07:002013-05-21T12:21:54.674-07:00Satisfaction can be a difficult subject as it seem...Satisfaction can be a difficult subject as it seems that we as people are often conditioned to be unsatisfied from a young age if they aren't doing what is main stream or is considered successful. So are we unsatisfied because we are in the wrong direction, or is it because we are measuring up our lives to what is considered to be pop cultures opinion of what should make us satisfied.ArMorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10997895175669450072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7491101769445766372.post-79016980783822200822013-05-20T16:42:40.126-07:002013-05-20T16:42:40.126-07:00I'll grant you that Charlaine Harris writes tr...I'll grant you that Charlaine Harris writes trite garbage that won't change anyone's outlook on the world, but you've got to admit, if you're in the mood for a trashy paperback, the Sookie Stackhouse series fits the bill.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09839699765954656794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7491101769445766372.post-37086495784999832492013-05-20T07:44:29.355-07:002013-05-20T07:44:29.355-07:00I'll second your assessment of Stephenie Meyer...I'll second your assessment of Stephenie Meyer and add my own for Charlaine Harris. It's long been said that we only change our lives when we get sick and tired of being sick and tired. It's easy to ride along when things are going well, and that's okay if average is okay. If average isn't okay, maybe it's time to write out your columns.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09839699765954656794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7491101769445766372.post-48345888376811943322013-05-17T13:47:44.571-07:002013-05-17T13:47:44.571-07:00Stephen- I think you pretty well this nail on the ...Stephen- I think you pretty well this nail on the head as to how most people feel. In fact, what I have noticed is that employers are more interested in certifications then an undergraduate degree and unless you are in a densely populated area, an Associate degree without experience will get you nowhere.ArMorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10997895175669450072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7491101769445766372.post-86291663700365564742013-05-16T11:31:21.685-07:002013-05-16T11:31:21.685-07:00Good thoughts.

But still to this day I remember a neighbor of mine telling me " when you can look in the mirror and see yourself not just your reflection then you will be happy" well something like that.
